Medray (N.I.) Installs three REVO Mobiles.
Medray Imaging Systems are delighted to have installed three Carestream DRX Revolution mobile x-ray units at the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children.
The Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children is the only hospital in Northern Ireland dedicated specifically to the care of children. It has 107 beds, and provides general hospital care for children living in Belfast, as well as providing most of the paediatric regional specialities for children throughout Northern Ireland.
(L to R) Siobhan Crowley (Sales Director, Medray), Mary Obana (Senior Radiographer), Sarah Aiken (Radiographer), Jenny McKinstry (Superintendent Radiographer), Claire Ferguson (Radiographer) Jason Roddy (Medray Technical Sales Manager N.I.)
The Carestream DRX Revolution is so compact and manoeuvrable; you can even make a 360˚ turn with one hand. The Revolution is also the only mobile with a boom and exposure head that lowers to below 3 feet, allowing the operator to drive safe in the knowledge that no walls are damaged or patients injured.
Jenny McKinstry, Superintendent Radiographer stated “As a dedicated children’s hospital, we are particularly happy with the child-friendly imagery on the mobiles. We feel this makes them less intimidating to the children we treat and adds a bit of fun to our work!”
