Easily wiped clean. Coating is relatively easy to damage (we’re just being honest!) and slightly radiopaque. For general radiography or any other medical imaging, care should be taken where the pad is positioned between the patient and film at exposure, particularly when edge-on to the beam and at lower kVs. Add ‘C’ to code if you require your Positional Aids to be coated.
