Medray Imaging Systems' connection with the Irish x-ray industry stretches back almost 30 years. During the early years the primary focus was on providing a solution to the film and chemistry needs of conventional radiography departments.

Since we started we have expanded our product and service offering to provide a one-stop solution for Irelands' x-ray departments. We haven't forgotten our roots, and many of these products still remain the corner stones of our business, such as lead aprons, viewing boxes, positional aids, cassettes and waste management systems.

In the past 4 years, aided by the success of securing the largest ever film contract with the HSE South, we have cemented our place as one of the country's leading players in imaging technology. In a rapidly changing industry, which now demands digital imaging outputting and storage solutions, we are perfectly positioned to be a top service provider. With state of the art products, from Agfa's CR systems, through Rimage storage solutions to PACS tables, Medray continues to be foremost in the minds of successful Radiology Managers.

Our dedicated customer care staff back up Medray's business development team, including a fully trained radiographer. Our Service Supervisor, Daphne Byrne, supported by our service coordinator, Cathriona Dunne, manages a team of 5 engineers whose combined experience stretches over 70 years and whose qualifications include the latest Cisco networking programmes.

Located in Dublin, Limerick, Sligo, Kildare and Carlow, our engineers are strategically placed to respond promptly to emergency breakdowns. We operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and are committed to maintaining our targeted figure of <1% downtime per machine per year.

As a reward for our unfaltering dedication to customer service we were honoured with the AFS Service Leader of the Year Award 2008 and the AFS Best Service Employer Award 2009.
